Service Supervisor - Arbor Heights
About the role
The Service Supervisor at Greystar's Arbor Heights community is responsible for overseeing and completing various maintenance tasks, ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the community, and supporting cost-cutting initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Completes work orders and routine upkeep on the community
- Oversees the “make-ready” process for vacant units
- Maintains inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials
- Performs monthly preventative maintenance
- Assists in developing and managing the budget for repairs and maintenance
- Ensures compliance with safety standards and conducts safety meetings
- Supports cost-cutting efforts by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible
- Trains and supervises other service team members
- Responds to resident inquiries and complaints
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trades
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively
- Basic mathematical skills
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal (if applicable)
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Specialized Skills
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal (if applicable)
- State and local certifications as required
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Pay
The hourly range for this role is $33.00 - $36.00. Additional compensation includes a quarterly or annual bonus program, paid time off, and robust benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, paid parental leave, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
Schedule
Local, routine travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position. Incumbents must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking "call" during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
