About the role
As part of a regionalized team within the Critical Power group, you will work closely within our team of teams. The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating M.C. Dean technicians, ensuring they are onsite to support our customers as needed. A key focus is the proactive scheduling of preventative maintenance, which plays a vital role in maintaining the reliability of our systems and preventing unexpected issues. By keeping maintenance schedules ahead of the curve and ensuring technicians are well-prepared and informed, you will help uphold our commitment to excellent service and system dependability for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Schedule preventative maintenance work between customers and technicians on UPS systems
- Schedule repair work between customers and technicians on UPS systems
- Work closely with regional field management to ensure both customer and field technician needs are met and exceeded
- Maintain constant communication with customers on urgent issues
- Proactively schedule preventative maintenance contracts
- Work closely with subcontracted vendor partners for scheduling
- Create service requests for orders
- Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Safety Training
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service by responding promptly, communicating clearly, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with internal teams and external customers
- Self-motivated and capable of managing responsibilities with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability and meeting deadlines
- Ability to recognize priorities, respond quickly to time-sensitive issues, and take proactive action to resolve problems efficiently
- Availability to travel to customer locations as required to support business needs, attend team meetings, and service-related activities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams, with the ability to create reports, track data, and communicate effectively
- Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all work, including documentation, scheduling, and data entry
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in or supporting operations related to UPS systems or generators is highly desirable
- Previous experience coordinating, tracking, or managing freight shipments is a plus

- Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction
- Finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, e.g., using a keyboard
