Service Sales Executive
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop sales presentations
- Possess strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude
- Manage through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume, and profitability
- Prepares and delivers client presentations
- Develop, write, and review client proposal documents including financial and technical sections
- Seek out and research prospective projects through various methods (e.g., phone calls, visits, attending conferences, utilizing the Internet, leveraging existing relationships)
- Contact prospective client Chief Engineers, Account Managers, and Property Managers to introduce yourself and develop future relationships
- Maintain client pricing and payments, A/R management, client correspondence, P/L reports, quality assurance (QA) support, and industry and trade show participation
- Work with the Service Sales Manager and EVP of Service in constantly reviewing and improving account programs to meet targeted objectives
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or business administration is preferred
- 8+ years’ sales experience in HVAC commercial service and/or building automation
- Relevant technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment
- Strong financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for sales proposals
- Experience in developing technical and cost proposals
- Independent decision-making is required
- Computer skills using MS Office required
- Strong Excel skills are required
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to handle confidential information
- Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks
