Service Room Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversees the Service Room employees to ensure they are performing their job to company standards
• Calibrates and sets up the machines at the beginning of the day
• Checks the medicine orders
• Ensures the PSP and MCP machines are ready for use at the beginning of the day
• Performs a quality control analysis on birds labeled as defective by the PSP or MCP machines
• Affords assistance in cleaning the medicine and Service Room
• Might repair the machines if capable.

Requirements

• A high school diploma is preferred
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Prior experience with animals or in a hatchery is a Plus
• Previous experience in a supervisory role required
• Ability to communicate verbally and listening with others - Bilingual Spanish speaking ability desired
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment
• Ability to perform job duties while wearing Personal Protective Equipment required of the position
