Service & Repair Technician II
About the Role
Brady Corp is seeking a Service & Repair Technician II to impact the efficiency and reliability of our service operations, contributing to customer retention and the overall success of Brady's service and repair business.
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions and execute assigned tasks such as testing, repairing/replacing parts without damage, and final configuration (or any other required tasks) with minimal supervision.
- Meet output requirements and stated goals.
- Interpret and execute written service instructions.
- Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in service and repair technician roles.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar software.
- Proven experience in service and repair of technical equipment, preferably in a similar industry.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Moderate knowledge of part placement and troubleshooting.
- Moderate computer skills (i.e., Excel, Word) and ability to use service and repair computer systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements relevant to service and repair work.
- Familiarity with service documentation, repair tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet customer service expectations.
