Service Plumber

Job Overview

Provide residential plumbing service, repair, and installation for homeowners.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of plumbing fixtures and systems.
Assemble, install, and repair pipes and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems in accordance with plumbing codes and specifications.
Repair and install fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures including water heaters, dishwashers, sinks, and toilets.
Utilize soldering, brazing, and welding equipment as needed to complete plumbing repairs and installations.
Communicate repair recommendations and upgrade options clearly and professionally with customers.
Perform minor to major re-pipe projects with attention to quality workmanship and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential plumbing service and installation experience
  
• Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License required, or eligibility to obtain licensing
  
• Experience with boilers and hydronic heating systems preferred
  
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment preferred
  
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record required
  
• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
• Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.

Monday through Friday
Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm

$42.00 to $60.00 per hour, based on experience
