About the Role
As a CBRE Service Plumber, you will be responsible for general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing, mechanical and distribution systems throughout multiple large retail stores in the area. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and supports one of CBRE's largest national retail clients.
Responsibilities
- Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water supply and distribution systems.
- Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
- Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
- Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
- Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
- Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
- Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
- Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements.
- Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
- Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Pay
The minimum salary for the Service Plumber position is $62,400 annually (or $30.00 per hour) and the maximum salary is $72,800 annually (or $35.00 per hour). The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
