Service Planner

Western Express HQ is in Nashville, TN. All outside terminals, located all over the country, have a small-town, tight-knit family atmosphere. Whether you are in Nashville or at one of our outlying locations, you are treated like family.

Responsibilities

• Effectively respond to incoming driver requests, providing prompt and professional assistance with questions and concerns.
• Open and manage daily repair orders while working closely with technicians to coordinate necessary repairs. Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Transman is preferred; experience with VRMS coding is a plus.
• Maintain a courteous, positive, and professional attitude. Strong communication skills are essential.
• Successfully multitask and remain highly organized in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills, including accurate and efficient typing.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately and within established timeframes, including DOT inspection reports and violation documentation.
• Consistently meet commitments, priorities, and deadlines.
