Service Planner

Western Express HQ is in Nashville, TN. All outside terminals, located across the country, have a small-town, tight-knit family atmosphere. Whether you are in Nashville or at one of our outlying locations, you are treated like family.

Responsibilities

• Effectively handle incoming driver requests and assist with driver questions.
• Open daily repair orders; work directly with technicians as needed for repairs. (Mechanical knowledge is helpful.)
• Working knowledge of Transman preferred (VRMS coding knowledge is a plus).
• Maintain a courteous and positive attitude—communication is a must.
• Multi-task and stay highly organized in a high-paced shop environment.
• Use computer systems accurately and type efficiently.
• Complete required documentation and reports in a timely manner (e.g., Inspection Reports for DOT, DOT Violations).
• Meet commitments and deadlines.
