About the role
McGovern Automotive Group is expanding and seeks qualified candidates for various positions including Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, Parts Manager, and Service Advisors across 40 locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage service operations to ensure efficient and effective vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Supervise and mentor service advisors to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Oversee parts inventory management to support timely and accurate vehicle repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and sales performance.
Requirements
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing automotive service departments.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Previous experience in automotive industry preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in automotive technology, business administration, or related field.
- ASE Master Certified Mechanic certification.
- Experience with computerized diagnostic systems.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and industry trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
