Service Operator (Work Dispatch)

About the role

Maintain and act as custodian of departmental records. Input departmental invoicing into accounts payable systems. Maintain accuracy of all crew employees' time entry, vacation and illness activity. Generate reports, spreadsheets, and monthly mileage reports. Manage office supplies, reconcile corporate purchasing card and set up meetings. Assist in all safety activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • College or university degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Entergy Corporate applications, and familiarity with CCS.
  • Familiarity with all company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
  • Self-starter with high initiative, willingness to learn new processes.
  • Excellent multitasking and team working capability.
  • Willingness to assume a storm restoration role and travel if necessary.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of the EEI CAB/SASS test.

Skills

  • Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Entergy Corporate applications (DSS, DIS, Indus, Earl, Pearl, VEA, ECOS, Service Suite, AM/FM DFM & Time and Labor).
  • CCS.

EEI Testing

If this position does require an EEI test, the type of test will be located under the qualifications section of the job posting. Incurred in connection with EEI testing are non-reimbursable.
