About the role
The Allen Apartments is seeking a Service Manager to join their team at a newly constructed community in New Rochelle, New York.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise maintenance staff
- Oversee renovation projects
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, owners, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with property standards and regulations
- Use Yardi or similar property management software
- Communicate effectively through writing and speaking
Requirements
- At least 3 years of maintenance experience in residential community management
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems
- Experience with renovation oversight
Qualifications
- Track record of building and retaining high-performance maintenance teams
- Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with residents, ownership groups, and vendors
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to use computers and email effectively
- A sharp, professional appearance
Skills
- Residential maintenance experience
