About the role
As the Service Manager for our Panther Industries brand, you will contribute to the success of the company by leading the field service team, while combining your technical expertise and interpersonal skills to provide our clients with best-in-class service.
Responsibilities
- Lead a field technical service team in providing superior service.
- Lead field technical service team for telephone support & assembly assistance when not in field.
- Install, demonstrate, maintain & repair marking, coding & labeling equipment.
- Develop reports in keeping with company reporting mechanisms.
- Aid in office-based duties when not required to be in the field.
- Keep current on trends from both market & technical standpoints.
- Aid in the training of technicians.
- Enter service information in the system and take to invoice.
- Cook up the activity of the team.
- Provide 24 hour on-call availability.
- Liaison between customer service & technicians.
Requirements
- Experience in the repair & troubleshooting of electro-mechanical equipment.
- Ability to identify customer needs and match their solution with company products/services.
- Experience leading a team of traveling technicians preferred.
- Knowledge of industry and applications preferred.
- Computer literacy, esp. with MS Office.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- MS Office proficiency.

Pay
The starting salary range for this role is $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
