SERVICE MANAGER DUTIES
- Supervise and manage all Service Department operations and personnel at the Portland, OR branch, including coaching and counsel of a large service department and staff including all FSMs, project managers, shop personnel & office staff.
- Supervise shop operations, including scheduling repairs and prepping both new & rental equipment for on-time deliveries.
- Maintain proper staffing levels and equipment needs for road mechanics and parts personnel.
- Review all internal and external matters involving branch operations & expenses, including service team review and potential growth.
- Receive and respond to all customer requests or inquiries regarding the full product line.
- Warranty submittals and rejection rates.
- Review labor rates with competition on a regular basis.
- Work with Sales Department to develop future business with current customers and potential customers in all Portland, OR territories.
- Monitor Work-In-Process, as well as non-billable percentages, to ensure branch profitability.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of forklifts and all related industrial equipment, and its operation.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to read, understand, interpret, and convey technical information.
- Strong customer service; written, verbal and in person.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary: $100,000- $140,000 DOE
