Service Manager

We’re hiring a Service Manager at our rental facility in Gillette, WY (Hard Down), and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. This position will lead a team of Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians (Mechanics) with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Use our proprietary tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues across hundreds of makes and models.
- Coordinate and supervise the quality performance of equipment mechanics and service personnel.
- Schedule repairs for customer and company-owned rental equipment.
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure 100% satisfaction and keep them informed about new ways EquipmentShare can improve their business.
- Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications.
- Oversee employee training and development while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Industry knowledge (rental or related construction field) and at least three years of maintenance and service experience.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, growing company environment.
- Ability to stay up-to-date on EquipmentShare products and services.
- Team-oriented mindset with a competitive spirit.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma; Trade school certificate preferred.
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
- Experience leading maintenance teams.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (must be at least 21 to operate company vehicle).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
This is a safety-sensitive position. Employment is contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen and background check.
