Service Manager

About the role

The Service Manager will be responsible for client relations and small projects and repairs within the Service department.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
• Participate and schedule face-to-face meetings with all customer base with appropriate intervals
• Quote proposals and negotiate contracts with customers using an established process
• Meet with clients to ensure satisfaction with services and project delivery objectives
• Prepare and present technical project and repair proposals
• Manage small service projects that include like-for-like replacements and repairs
• Aid the sales manager in developing future sales opportunities
• Build rapport with all service accounts, explaining Apollo's service capabilities, overcoming objections, and managing contracts for scope, costs, and revenues
• Promote and sell the company's capabilities to both existing and new clients
• Review costs and profit margins on Preventive Maintenance Agreements (PMAs), projects, and repairs to manage profitability goals for each client
• Research and negotiate annual pricing increases for PM agreements
• Research potential service enhancements or modifications to meet the evolving needs of the customer base
• Assemble estimates, budgets, and proposals for service-related projects
• Ensure the highest quality of customer and field staff relationships
• Support the sales team with customer leads and direction
• Cook up schedules for HVAC, Plumbing, and Control Technicians
• Cultivate new clients

Qualifications

• Background in sales
• Commercial HVAC/R and Hydronic background preferred
• Self-driven, motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mentality
