Service Engineer II IS - Remote
About the role
Service Engineers work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers to design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, computer-based services offered to IS, non-IS and clinical caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Understands caregiver, business, and technical requirements.
- Contributes to components of a service architecture, and operability and caregiver scenarios that meet compliance standards and KPIs.
- Analyzes current service delivery system and identifies improvements.
- Trains and troubleshoots service issues to restore service with minimal disruption.
- Identifies relevant data and provides analysis on actual versus projected capacity requirements.
- Maximizes financial resources and resolves platform, system, deployment and environmental issues.
- Collects metrics to support service intelligence analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years related experience.
- Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
- Experience with n-tier solutions.
- Experience with resilience modeling and ability to simulate service outages.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, configure code, and design for end-to-end service telemetry, alerting and self-healing capabilities.
- Expertise in web services, virtualization and cloud concepts.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and server products such as Windows Server, Virtualization, SQL Server, Network technologies, Active Directory, and Cloud technologies and services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create technical presentations/documents.
- Basic project management.
Skills

Pay
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
