Service Engineer II IS - Network Services - Onsite

Providence is calling a Service Engineer II to join the IS Network Services team in Redmond, Washington. Service Engineers partner with developers, testers, and program managers—typically early in the development process—to design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, computer-based services offered to IS, non-IS, and clinical caregivers. Their technical skills match those of their Development, Test, and Program Management counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and improve large-scale computer-based services for IS, non-IS, and clinical caregivers.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and program managers during the development process.
• Apply automation to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
• Work with n-tier solutions.
• Perform resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent education/experience.
• 2 years of related experience; 2-5 years preferred.
• Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
• Experience with n-tier solutions.
• Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Healthcare environment.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $50.32 - $79.45 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
