About the role
This position is available at our Employee-Owned company in Albany, GA. We are seeking full-time Electricians to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair electrical systems in various industries including Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal businesses.
- Adhere to the National Electrical Code and read and interpret manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and equipment specifications.
- Use and maintain hand and power tools, as well as electrical and electronic test equipment.
- Show strong communication skills and use basic electronic technology for entering time and safety reports.
- Uphold safety as the top priority and support the goal of achieving zero accidents.
- Participate in safety training as required by all company personnel.
Qualifications & Experience
- Electrical technician capable of performing all types of electrical installation work.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Preferred 3 years of electrical installation experience.
- A desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.
- A positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
- The ability to self-start, display a solid work ethic, and respect others.
- The ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
- A high school education or GED.
- Past leadership experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Maintain a consistent workload involving moderate manual labor.
- Travel to various construction sites, exposing you to outdoor elements, noise, and the need to stand and walk.
- Safely operate equipment such as ladders, lifts, hand and power tools, vehicles, etc., as required to perform electrical installations.
