Responsibilities
- Working on CNC machines, various heat treat furnaces, and also jet fuel installations for test purposes.
- Installs conduit from machines to power sources, sizes wire to meet current and voltage requirements, installs new wiring for plant, office, and equipment expansions, and retrofits the electrical components of plant machines and equipment if a production process addition or modification has been made.
- Uses standard electricians hand tools including, DVM, and various test gear and a laptop computer.
- Willing to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Electrician Journeyman card or 4 years of equivalent Electrician experience working in an industrial / manufacturing environment. High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Additional Qualifications: Willing to join a union Honeywell AALS is represented by UAW, Local #9.
- Experience in electrical work including knowledge of programmable machine controls. Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to read blueprints and have solid troubleshooting and repair skills.
