Service Electrician

Our employee-owned company has immediate full-time openings in Albany, GA. This position will work within industrial, commercial, healthcare, and federal businesses and be part of an amazing and growing team. All positions are regular, full-time and benefits eligible.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical systems in construction applications and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Adhere to the National Electrical Code and be able to read and interpret manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and equipment specifications.
• Properly use and maintain hand and power tools along with electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Use basic electronic technology for entering time and safety reports.
• Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company; support the goal of achieving zero accidents.
• Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.

Requirements

• 3 years of electrical installation experience preferred.
• Generator knowledge preferred.
• Must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
• Ability to self-start, display solid work ethic, and respect others.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Completion of electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• High school education or GED required.
• Past leadership experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves moderate manual labor.
• Travel to various construction sites is essential, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise, and the need to stand and walk.
• Must be able to safely operate equipment as required to perform electrical installations (ladders, lifts, hand and power tools, vehicles, etc.).

Pay

Total compensation depends on experience and knowledge.
