About the role

The Electrician is a skilled professional specializing in electrical systems and wiring. Their primary responsibility is to install, maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical Installations: Install various electrical components and systems, such as electrical panels, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and wiring.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform regular maintenance checks on electrical systems to identify and fix any potential issues. Troubleshoot problems and carry out repairs to restore functionality.
  • Electrical Upgrades: Upgrade existing electrical systems to meet current standards or accommodate new equipment and appliances.
  • Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety in their work by adhering to safety guidelines and regulations to prevent electrical hazards and ensure the well-being of occupants and property.
  • Testing and Inspection: Conduct tests and inspections on electrical systems to verify their performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Reading Blueprints and Technical Diagrams: Interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams to plan and execute installations accurately.
  • Electrical Code Compliance: Ensure all installations and repairs meet legal requirements and industry standards by following electrical codes and regulations.
  • Communication: Work with other professionals, such as construction teams and project managers, to understand project requirements, discuss technical details, and collaborate effectively.
  • Time Management: Manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities to complete projects within specified timelines.
  • Electrical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical issues through analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer Service: Provide good customer service, explain electrical issues to clients, and address their concerns.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest electrical technologies, tools, and safety practices through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

  • Master Electrician licensing in state performing work.
  • Previous experience as an Electrician in the construction industry.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A solid understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with electrical construction practices and terminology.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and construction practices.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills related to electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement and subcontractor management.
  • Understanding of construction industry regulations and best practices.

Compensation & Benefits

Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. The Company reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
