Service Electrician

Piper Electric, a Crete United Company, seeks experienced Service Electricians for a dynamic career with one of Colorado's most respected electrical contractors. Since 1983, Piper has provided steady year-round work across commercial and industrial service environments, offering a wide variety of projects and opportunities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Perform service calls, repairs, and preventative maintenance independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Install, modify, and repair conduit, wiring, panels, devices, fixtures, and related systems in compliance with NEC standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers, site contacts, and team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Respond to changing job site needs and support multiple service locations throughout the Denver Metro and Colorado markets.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Piper quality standards.
• Lead by example and promote company safety culture at all times.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Journeyman Electrician License required.
• Strong troubleshooting and service background preferred.
• Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical service work.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced field environments.
• Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• NEC knowledge and code compliance.
