Service Development Representative-Natchez/Jackson, MS Area

About the role

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Magnolia, MS is now accepting applications for an experienced Service Development Representative for the Natchez/Jackson Territory. As a Marketer or "Service Development Representative", you will provide case management functions within the community, act as a liaison between providers and referral sources to ensure a smooth transition of services from different levels of clinical intensity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business and marketing plans for the facility
• Establish strategic marketing plans to achieve the facility's objectives
• Manage individual marketing budget
• Collaborate with the medical director, program administrator, staff and community to identify specific areas of educational needs
• Develop referral relationships within the community and act as a conduit for information between the facility and the resources
• Collect information from referring professionals or facilities then meet with potential patients and conduct pre-admission screenings as a liaison between the source and hospital to obtain minimum information so the clinical team can have insight in determining admission eligibility
• Assist with care alternatives for patients and families as needed
• Communicate results of the pre-screening process and recommendations to the patient/family and referral source per company policy
• Active in the community development of hospital services
• Available for consultative and provide educational services throughout the month
• Promote mental health prevention awareness and sit on community resource boards where appropriate
• Develop positive relationships with community resources and networks to provide a seamless continuum of care and maintain positive collaborative relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing preferred, or Business Development
• Experience with a focus on healthcare minimum
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Sales or Development in healthcare and/or medical industry is required
