Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for customers.
- Troubleshoot a variety of desktop support issues.
- Manage and administer Active Directory.
- Administer anti-virus and perform malware remediation.
- Manage backup and recovery software.
- Support and troubleshoot hardware and operating system issues.
- Support mobile devices.
- Understand and apply networking concepts and hardware.
- Manage switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Work with wireless networks and remote-access and site-to-site VPNs.
Requirements

- Strong search engine and research capabilities.
- Windows System Administration in a distributed environment - desktop and server.
- Active Directory administration.
- Application support and administration.
- Anti-virus administration and malware remediation.
- Backup and recovery software.
- Troubleshooting of hardware and OS issues.
- Mobile device support.
- Networking concepts and hardware.
- Familiarity with network cabling.
- Understanding TCP/IP Networking.
- Managing switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Wireless networks.
- Remote-access and site-to-site VPN.
Skills and Experience
- 2+ years managed service provider (MSP or MSSP) experience.
- Microsoft Windows Server.
- Cisco IOS and/or ASA firewall.
- Linux.
- VMware.
- Hyper-V.
- A+ Certification.
- Net+ Certification.
- Practical Office 365 Admin Experience or MS-900 Cert.
Other Requirements
- Eligible to work directly for any U.S. employer without ever requiring sponsorship/a 3rd party.
- Willingness to work overtime and be on call (OT minimal, oncall approximately 2 weeks/year).
- Reliable transportation.
- Onsite role, but can work from home if necessary.
