Service Department Manager
Position Overview
The Service Manager will manage equipment, service, and installation technicians, directly leading the commercial service and installation business with a high degree of customer interfacing. Responsibilities include department budget and P&L responsibility, effective control of labor and material costs, managing and assisting with employee scheduling, technical/troubleshooting problem-solving, developing, training, and hiring technicians, office personnel, and interns/management trainees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
- Minimum two (2) years’ work experience; preferably with supervisory or managerial responsibilities with a commercial building products and materials company that fixes/repairs/installs equipment/products
- Excellent communicator who is highly organized and possesses a good mechanical aptitude
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
