About the role

The Service Delivery Center Senior – Financial Services Organization – QA Guidewire role is part of a collegiate environment dedicated to driving transformational change in the financial services industry. This position involves working closely with clients to transform their application testing services, collaborating with business organizations for User Acceptance Testing, and coaching teams to foster an innovative and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive transformational change in the way clients deliver application testing services in their organizations
  • Define test strategy, plan, implement, and ensure quality assurance for large complex projects
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business organizations
  • Coach team members to foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment
  • Develop and share knowledge to build capability for the practice
  • Cultivate business development opportunities and support sales efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years of Guidewire experience
  • Experience working in the insurance sector
  • Strong experience on Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, Billing Center and rating engine, and integration experience with external vendors
  • Good test knowledge on rating concepts such as premium calculations, discounts, and surcharges, and coverage
  • Strong quality engineering skills with test automation experience in tools like Selenium, Rest Assured, etc.
  • Good knowledge and experience on SOAP and REST services test concepts
  • Strong property & casualty Insurance domain knowledge across personal and commercial products, their risks, and coverages
  • Ability to augment QE practice go-to-market capabilities in the service delivery
  • Tools/Frameworks/Software Skills: Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber, IntelliJ, SOAP UI, Postman, Oracle SQL Developer, Gitlab, Jira, Xray, Hexawise
  • Excellent collaboration and teaming skills in diverse environments
  • Technical competency experience with Test Strategy & Operating Model Development, Testing Center of Excellence/IT Transformation Program Management, Test Automation Framework Architecture, Agile Test Management, User Acceptance Test Coordination, IT Organizational Change Management, Performance Testing Program Management, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Data Management, IT Life cycle Management or IT Delivery Management

Desired Attributes

  • Approximately 5 years of financial services experience, including prior consulting experience
  • Guidewire certifications
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, ITIL, PMP or other specialized IT certifications
  • A “go-getter” attitude, passion to continuously learn, improve, and perform at the highest level

Pay

The base salary range for this role in all geographic locations in the US is $67,000 to $136,800. For the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the range is $80,300 to $155,300. Individual salaries within these ranges are determined based on a variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.

Schedule

Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. Employees are also granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support their physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
