About the role

Responsibilities
- Support engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of distributed software applications.
- Deliver high-quality systems with a focus on reliability and excellent customer experience.
- Collaborate with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds to foster an innovative and inclusive work environment.
- Provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues based on current technology environment and industry trends.
- Work as part of a project team and be responsible for the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery, and support of Technology solutions.
- Manage changing priorities and learn new and rapidly changing technology solutions in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Requirements
- Prior fullstack software product development experience with a preference for understanding DevOps and its supporting services and tools.
- Proven experience in agile methodologies, delivering engineering solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages.
- Effective communication and collaboration with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Understanding of current technology environment and industry trends.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in technology software development.
- Back-end experience using modern technologies like Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud technologies like AWS, or Azure.
- Front-end development with modern frameworks and practices like React, Angular, or Responsive web design.
- Experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud native/Microservices architecture, including experience with IaaS, PaaS, container deployment.
- Experience with modern collaborative development tools (e.g. Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing, including experience with TDD or BDD software development techniques.
- Comfortable working in an Agile and TDD environment.
Skills and Attributes
- Experience with Akka/Scala, Kafka/RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Hadoop/Spark/Flume, MongoDB/Cassandra/NoSQL databases.

The base salary range for this role in all geographic locations in the US is $55,400 to $113,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $66,600 to $128,500. Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
