About the role
The service coordinator will be deeply involved in the work order process including opening work order headers and segments in Service Link, technician time entry into Service Link, receiving and entering technician service reports into Service Link, scheduling PSP/PIP work, customer purchase order requests, filing to history files, warranty claim pre-prep, coordination, follow-up and communication with central warranty group and parts personnel through to claim closure, as well as clerical work such as payroll and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Open work order headers and segments in Service Link
- Enter technician time and service reports into Service Link
- Schedule PSP/PIP work
- Handle customer purchase order requests
- File documents to history files
- Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on warranty claims through to closure
- Communicate with central warranty group and parts personnel
- Perform clerical tasks such as payroll and scheduling
Requirements
- Strong computer skills, including typing and keyboarding at least 60 words per minute
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Superior organizational skills
- Ability to work well with multiple people and communicate across various branches and departments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good decision-making skills
- Strong desire for follow-up and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Prior experience in a service department (preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
- Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight
- Repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including use of a computer keyboard
- Ability to communicate verbally to exchange information
- Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible
Schedule
7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
