Service Coordinator

Location: Greensboro, NC - In-Office
Responsibilities
- Work with Technician Supervisor and/or Operations, Service Center, or District Manager in scheduling and dispatching technicians for jobs (startups/repairs, warranty, maintenance).
- Handle customer inquiries and route questions of a technical nature to the appropriate resource.
- Track time and attendance for technicians.
- Coordinate job startups and maintain communication with the customer regarding scheduling, follow-up on jobs in progress, and completed jobs.
- Invoice and bill customers.
- Assist in performing local office AP/AR functions and follow up with customers to ensure payment has been received.
- Coordinate warranty administration process, parts orders, and track shipments.
- Answer telephones and greet customers while maintaining professional and courteous customer contact.
- Assist new hires in completing new hire paperwork, complete employer-required sections of forms (I-9), and ensure it is sent to Human Resources on the new employee’s first day.
- Maintain OSHA logs.
- Enter and maintain information in the Enterprise Resource System, including work orders, new customer information, and technician hours for billing purposes.
- Ensure timely close-out on all work orders and that all associated paperwork (P.O., etc.) is received and filed with the proper job.
- Gather local prevailing wage rates and report hours worked by Technicians on those jobs to Human Resources.
- Maintain filing for office equipment (copier, telephone, fax, etc.).
- Provide initial notification of Workers Compensation claims to the insurance carrier.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-4+ years of related experience in a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field.
- Bachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of work experience.
- Experience working with HVAC Technicians (preferred).
- Experience with Astea and/or any other service tracking software.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $23.65 - $37.69 in North Carolina. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
