What This Job Is Like
- Reliable weekday hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday. No evenings or weekends required.

- Direct care: Assist individuals with day-to-day activities such as eating lunch, taking medicine, and personal care.
Requirements

- Experienced: Meets Minnesota’s requirements as a Designated Coordinator under 245D* and understands the complexities of disability services.
- Safe: Dependable, clear-headed, and serious about safety. Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be able to obtain a DOT Medical card. Background check required.
Minnesota’s Requirements for Designated Coordinators include one of the following:
- A BA/BS degree in a related field and 1 year of direct care experience for persons with disabilities; or
- An AA degree in a related field and 2 years of direct care experience; or
- A diploma in a related field from an accredited postsecondary institution and 3 years of direct care experience; or
- A minimum of 50 hours of education/training in human services and 4 years of direct care experience under supervision.
