About the role

MSS is looking for a dedicated and caring Direct Support Professional to provide creative and engaging activities for adults with disabilities at our Apple Valley Center. This full-time, entry-level position is ideal for anyone interested in starting or growing a career in disability services, human services, or social services. The center offers a variety of unique spaces and programming options to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist with day-to-day activities such as eating, taking medicine, and toileting, ensuring respectful and compassionate support.
• Programs and Activities: Lead fun and rewarding activities tailored to individual interests, such as learning job skills, gardening, art projects, or community outings. Creativity and enthusiasm are key.
• Safety and Community: Work on a close-knit team in a safe, respectful, and friendly environment. Your dependability and clear-headedness help maintain a secure space for clients and staff.
