Service Coordinator Advisor

About the role

We're seeking a customer-focused team member to support our service operations. This role includes quoting services, providing technical support, assisting with training, and documentation. You'll play a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction through onsite visits, evaluations, and ongoing support for both mechanical and electrical services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain payables system and related schedules
• Ensure customer satisfaction with product and service
• Conduct customer courtesy visits to promote all Doppelmayr service activities
• Provide quotes for in-house and field services for both mechanical and electrical needs
• Deliver technical support via phone, email, and onsite
• Prepare all customer service activities for invoicing with proper documentation and reporting completed and submitted in a timely manner
• Assist with customer training both in-house and onsite
• Advise customers on minor modifications
• Conduct onsite evaluations of customer equipment and maintenance activities
• Attend and participate in industry trade shows and seminars
• Review and assist with field service activities when required

Requirements

• Candidate must have at least a High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Excellent communication skills with a high level of professionalism and accuracy via phone and email
• A wide range of aerial tramway knowledge, including regulatory requirements, NDT, manuals, and industry best practices
• Field service experience including but not limited to: grip rebuild and inspection, sheave train rebuild, terminal maintenance, BW bearings, haul rope replacements and rope shortenings
• Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, SMS, and ERP systems
• Strong understanding of service activities to provide accurate quotes, including scope of work, expected duration, and cost
• Minimum of two years of experience in the ski area industry or a related field
• Mechanical or electrical maintenance background
• Customer service background is helpful
• Requires international travel to other Doppelmayr facilities for training and meetings
