Service Advisor/Admin Support

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hybrid Service Advisor/Admin Support role at Lloyd Used Car Centre in Carlisle, primarily supporting the Service department with additional site administration duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for customers booking in or collecting vehicles from service/workshop
• Keep customers updated on job progress, including any digital/video updates as required
• Liaise between customers, technicians and parts to keep jobs moving efficiently
• Process service invoices and ensure accurate records are maintained
• Support the service team with day-to-day workflow and scheduling
• Maintain high standards of customer service throughout the service journey
• Run vehicles for MOTs, tyre fitting, pick-ups and other service-related movements as required
• Order parts for vehicles needing repairs/preparation for sale
• Submit Warranty claims on behalf of customers to the Warranty Provider

Requirements

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with customers face-to-face and by phone
• Able to work flexibly across two areas of the business
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office / general IT systems
• A team player willing to learn and adapt
• Previous experience within a dealership or automotive environment is desirable but not required
• Experience with Kerridge and iLloyd is desirable but not required
• Full UK driving licence
