Server Position Summary
Servers at Sundrop are ambassadors of our brand, responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and intuitive service that reflects both fine-dining standards and the ease of coastal hospitality. The ideal candidate balances professionalism with warmth, ensuring every guest feels genuinely cared for from arrival to farewell.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized service in an upscale dining environment
- Possess thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary considerations
- Confidently guide guests through food and beverage selections, including wine, cocktails, and pairings
- Execute service steps with precision, timing, and attention to detail
- Anticipate guest needs and respond gracefully to requests or concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and polished dining room
- Collaborate closely with hosts, bartenders, culinary staff, and management to ensure seamless service
- Hold Sundrop and LUCE Hotel standards for professionalism, appearance, and hospitality
- Perform other related job duties
Qualifications
- Prior fine dining or upscale restaurant experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, and elevated cuisine is a plus
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
