Server - Restaurant

Job Summary

Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn is a part of Genesis Hospitality, located in the heart of Lambertville, New Jersey. We are seeking a part-time Server who can bring their expertise and passion to our team.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates food and beverage service for a station of tables
• Develops rapport with guests and offers warm, efficient, and thoughtful service
• Possesses a commanding knowledge and passion about food, wine, spirits, and service
• Executes the restaurant's vision and philosophy
• Improvise and make impromptu decisions in accordance with the cycle of service and the restaurant's policies and standards

Requirements

• At least 4 years fine dining restaurant experience preferred
• Creative, team-oriented, and self-motivated
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Able to follow oral and written instructions
• Able to work well in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and time management skills
• Moderate physical efforts required: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling, and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds

• Regularly uses hands to handle or feel; reaches with hands and arms; talks or hears
• Frequently stands and walks
• Requires moderate physical efforts: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions

• Kitchen Environment: Noise level is usually mild to moderate
• Involves noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc.
