Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn is seeking for experienced and team-oriented candidate for a part-time Server position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrating the food and beverage service for a station of tables and being the face of the establishment.
• Developing rapport with guests, and offering a warm, efficient, and thoughtful service.
• Possessing a commanding knowledge and passion about food, wine, spirits, and service in general.
• Executing the restaurant’s vision and philosophy.
• Improvising and making impromptu decisions in accordance with the cycle of service and the restaurant’s policies and standards.

Requirements

• At least 4 years fine dining restaurant experience preferred
• Creative, team-oriented, and self-motivated
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Able to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and time management skills
• Moderate physical efforts required: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling, and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds
• Working conditions involve noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc.
• May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffing
• Physical Demands: regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Frequently required to stand and walk
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision & focus
• Working Conditions: Kitchen Environment; noise level usually mild to moderate
