SERVER/ RESTAURANT CASHIER

About the role

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent guest service
• Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attending to guests upon entrance
• Presenting restaurant menus and helping guests select food/beverages
• Taking and serving orders
• Answering questions or making recommendations for complementary products
• Collaborating with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Resolving complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issuing bills and accepting payment

Requirements

• Is energetic, enthusiastic, and works well as part of a team
• Is able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Has the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Is able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Possesses excellent people skills and has a friendly attitude
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• This is an entry-level position. No prior experience is needed to apply. We will provide the training you need to be successful.
• Special consideration will be given to very well qualified applicants with the following experience:
• Proven restaurant serving experience
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties
• Previous restaurant experience
