Restaurant Server / Cashier

About the role

The Harbor District is seeking a dynamic and friendly Counter Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously
• Process orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensure food and beverage quality meets high standards
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
• Participate in staff training and development programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a fast-paced service environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for delivery duties)

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service orientation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of POS systems (optional but beneficial)
