Server - Montana Sky at DoubleTree by Hilton Billings, MT

Job Purpose

Under general supervision, provides prompt and courteous food service to restaurant customers. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a smile and positive attitude
• Prepare and present items, organize and maintain a clean service area
• Clean tables and area
• Follow all health codes
• Ensure all guests are dealt with in a professional, consistent manner
• Diplomatically handle difficult situations and people
• Take guests' food and drink orders and ensure accuracy
• Bring orders to each table in a timely manner
• Aid in setting and rearranging tables for larger parties
• Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety programs, Health Department requirements, and job safety analysis
• Maintain and enforce sanitation laws and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen and restaurant area
• Follow all applicable Company Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma / Secondary qualification or equivalent
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards
• The ability to perform the following: maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Company Standards, attend all scheduled training sessions and meetings, and fully comply with the Company’s rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel facilities
