Server, Lodge Kohler

Specific Responsibilities

• Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any
• Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to upsell
• Takes food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enters into Point of Sale (POS) system
• Greets guests and presents them with the menu when applicable
• Processes payment transactions
• Clears and resets table settings and linens, as needed
• Performs basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Communicates to the guest and provides assistance with questions
• Covers with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction
• Serves food and beverage per the course of order
• Observes guests and ensures their satisfaction with the food and service
• Promptly responds to guest with any additional request
• Maintains proper dining experience; delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
• Prepares mixed drinks for service to your customers table when applicable (must be 18 or over and licensed)
• Understands and can communicate products and services available at the resort
• Aids in stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station
• Helps other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and seating guests

Skills/Requirements

• Must have the ability to walk or stand for the majority of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds
• Candidate must be 18 years old
• Maintain a working knowledge of department standards and policies
• Safe Serve Certification preferred
• Prior serving experience preferred
• Packers Game Day availability required

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $2.33 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
