About the role
Server will take orders and deliver them to guests while maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service. With genuine hospitality, Servers will guide guests through our menus, provide beverage and food recommendations, and deliver an exceptionally distinctive dining experience that meets or exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers, present menus, and help them select food and beverages
- Take and serve orders, answer questions, and make product recommendations
- Collaborate with other servers, kitchen, and bar staff
- Handle complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment, including proficient sales transactions using a point-of-sale system
- Check IDs for guests who appear under 30 to ensure responsible alcohol service
- Demonstrate impeccable product knowledge and use proven suggestive selling techniques
- Regularly check back with guests to satisfy all their needs throughout their experience
- Maintain a clean and organized station, including pre-bussing and table maintenance
- Perform opening, closing, and side duties (e.g., setting up/breaking down station, refilling condiments, cleaning)
- Demonstrate knowledge of all table and station numbers
- Direct guests to areas and restrooms

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Must have required work cards
- Minimum of 6 months in bar-related positions preferred
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds
- Ability to perform work tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
- Ability to work in indoor and/or outdoor areas, including exposure to high/low temperatures
- Ability to access and operate business applications for communication (e.g., email, chat/text messaging)
- Ability to work in environments that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, or confined
- Constant contact with guests and fellow team members is required
Schedule
- Work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Schedule could exceed 30 hours per week and may include overtime when approved by management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to factors such as second-hand smoke, excessive noise, and flashing/strobe lights
