Server - Food Celebrity Casino Lounge (Part Time)

Responsibilities

• Make sure that all the guest's needs are met in a prompt, professional, and efficient manner.
• With a professional appearance, respond to guest's needs, requests, complaints, and other unusual situations.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests using "one-on-one" world class service.
• Provide personalized service and use guest name.
• Review with Casino Host all VIP reservations, and get familiar with the guests they are to service during their shifts.
• Work daily with the Culinary Department, to learn daily food items & how they are prepared for our VIP guests.
• Process guest orders to provide an experience that exceeds their expectations.
• Observe guests to ensure satisfaction and respond to additional requests.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Take orders for drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and garnish and serve drinks.
• Maintain strict cleanliness of the Lounge by clearing dishes from tables within set timeframe, keep food display and counter where food is served clean at all times and notify proper department if assistance is needed in cleaning.
• Maintain a very clean & organized Micros station and ring in all drinks served to guests.
• VIP Server should arrive on time and ready to work.
• Ensure the safety and security of team members and customers.
• Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally’s Kansas City Casino and departmental management.
• Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of manager and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Strong career background in guest service field is preferred.
• Two years food and beverage service, preferably in the casino industry or up-scale setting.
• Must possess vast knowledge of food & beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to include wine, champagne, cordials, single malt scotches, & aperitifs.
• Able to work in an upscale environment, in a friendly upbeat manner.
• Must be able to multi-task and work successfully with little to no supervision.
