As a member of the Emerald Valley team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and serving food and beverage to guests. Your role represents The Broadmoor brand and is an Ambassador of our Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform table set up, replenish and clean up before, during and/or after the guest’s meal and replenish snacks, and stock bar as necessary.
  • Answer menu questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage service.
  • Ability to act as bartender and mix ingredients to prepare beverages to guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate communication with kitchen staff regarding orders, times, guest needs, etc. in order to provide efficient service.
  • Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
  • Buss and carry used tableware to kitchen area.
  • Handle opening and closing procedures as directed and complete daily and weekly side-work.
  • Follow RANCH safety and hygiene standards.
  • Follow all directions received from General Manager.
  • Report tips as required by the IRS.
  • Absorb and maintain up to date knowledge of Colorado liquor laws.
  • Aid other dining room staff and all other staff as needed.
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • At least one year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Fine dining experience required
  • Knowledge of alcohol service and laws is required
  • Experience working with touch screen, Point of Sale systems
  • In compliance with state liquor laws, must be at least 18 years of age
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

Skills

  • Knowledge of AAA and Forbes dining standards preferred
