Qualifications
Prior food service experience preferred
Duties
- Prepare and serve items with an emphasis on sanitation, nutrition, efficiency, and eye appeal.
- Cold Line - serve prepared and made to order sandwiches and salads.
- Hot Line - serve fresh hot meals.
- Prepare a service line with sides, salads, fruits, condiments, etc.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and free of hazards work area/equipment at all times.
- Aid others in the work area as needed.
- Clean and sanitize tables, sweep the floor, and wash dishes using the dish machine.
- Restock items as needed.
- Use safety features required by manufacturers and those added by the Food Service Director.
Hazards
- Frequent exposure to hot food and food service equipment.
- Frequent exposure to chemicals such as detergent and sanitizer.
- Occasional lifting of 40 lbs and frequent lifting of 20 lbs.
- Exposure to wet greasy floors.
Additional Duties
- May be required to perform other duties as needed within the Food Service Department.
- Report all theft to the Kitchen Lead.
