SERVER - BREW BROTHERS

About the role

The Brew Brothers Server provides friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, upscale service consistently to guests. Must possess the willingness to provide friendly service support to front servers while maintaining precise and coordinated team responsibilities with other back servers.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from guests
• Deliver orders to guests
• Answer questions from guests
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the restaurant (front and back of house)
• Replenish dining room items (e.g., salt/pepper, ketchup)
• Bus tables and clean areas of the restaurant as needed
• Practice family-style service with all guests and team members
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, polite demeanor, and neat appearance
• Commitment to 100% customer service
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale device, basic computer literacy, and required math skills
• Ability to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
• One year of experience in a food service or retail-based position, preferably in food & beverage with direct customer interaction
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing
• Must pass a background investigation
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for extended periods
• Ability to work from a standing position or walking motion for extended periods
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
