Responsibilities
- Demonstrate sanitary food handling and equipment safety, properly store and label food items, maintain standards of sanitation and food handling based on County, State and Federal regulations.
- Maintain clean and neat work area.
- Follow the Steps of service for the venue they are working as outlined in the venue policies and procedures.
- Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
- Must follow all cash handling SOP's of the venue they are working.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous serving experience required.
- Excellent customer service/communication skills essential.
- Must have neat and clean appearance and adhere to the casino policy on dress code and be outgoing.
- Must have the ability to obtain and hold an Occupational License as required by the Indiana Horse Racing Commission.
- Must be certified in Serve Safe Alcohol Awareness, and Indiana State approve Alcohol Training.
- Hold an Indiana ATC {Alcohol & Tobacco Commission) License.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Horseshoe Indianapolis is a smoking establishment, therefore must be able to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be able to work in a highly populated fast-paced and noisy environment.
- Access to general gaming floor, and may required access to the Employee Service Window (ESW) of the Cage to obtain F&B bank.
