Server *Banquets, Catering & Events Full Time

Responsibilities for Servers

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
• Load and unload vans prior to the start and after completion of events.
• Serve food and beverages to the guests using proper etiquette guidelines.
• Remove dishes and glassware from tables.
• Set up and breakdown events including linens, dishes, silverware, and decor items.
• Follow instructions to ensure the event runs smoothly and all tasks are completed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities for Bartenders

• Must be RAMP certified.
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for clients.
• Professionally interact with clients.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Follow all PA Liquor Control Board serving requirements, including checking client identification to confirm it meets the legal drinking age.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• WORK EXPERIENCE: Retail or food service experience preferred.
• SKILLS: Friendly and excellent customer service skills.
• EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Valid Driver’s License and RAMP certification for bartenders.
• LANGUAGE: Complete written and oral knowledge of the English language.

Additional Responsibilities

• RESPONSIBILITY: Maintain good relations with customers.
• SECURITY/CONFIDENTIALITY: All materials and information obtained through working with our company may not be given or transferred outside of the company. Violation of confidentiality is grounds for termination.
• TRAINING: Any training held is mandatory.

Performance Standards

• Must be willing to adjust to last-minute changes, engage and assist sales and kitchen staff, and jump in where needed.

Working Conditions/Environment

Fast-paced environment, high noise level, frequent walking, long hours during event days, and lifting up to 50 lbs necessary.
