About the role

This position is responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly dining room and the guest service area in an assigned restaurant within Hershey Lodge.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers
• Restock all dining and service areas
• Clear and reset tables
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning sheets
• Pour coffee and water when required
• Ensure condiments are amply supplied on guest tables prior to seating
• Tray food orders and deliver them to the correct table efficiently and accurately
• Forward any guest concerns to the applicable wait staff or supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
• Must demonstrate an ability to work in an organized and efficient manner
• Must be able to work with limited supervision
• Must effectively communicate with co-workers and staff
• Must present a clean and professional image
• Must be able to work on one's feet for long periods of time
• Must be able to stoop, bend, push, and lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work flexible shifts including breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal periods, according to operational needs
• Must meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours
