Server Assistant – Rooftop (Full time/Seasonal)

About the role

The Food Server Assistant supports the Food Server in delivering Baja-inspired dishes and craft cocktails at The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific, North County San Diego’s first rooftop dining experience. This position requires standing for long periods in outdoor weather conditions and embodying Hyatt’s values: Empathy, Respect, Integrity, Inclusion, and Experimentation.

The hourly rate for this position is $17.50/hr. The role is expected to conclude around Labor Day 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assist Food Servers in serving guests efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain professionalism and alignment with Hyatt’s core values.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Capability to lift, pull, and push up to 25 pounds.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• 1+ years of experience in food and beverage service.

• A genuine desire to meet guest needs in a high-energy setting.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
